Supplies needed:
PSP
(I wrote this in X but any version will work)
Animation Shop
Plugins: Eye Candy (any version) – Gradient Glow
Tube of choice
Font: Scythe or use one of your own
Template: ButterflyFlutterbyHalloweenTemplate1 by ButterflyFlutterby Creations HERE
Mask: BflyFlbyMask3 by ButterflyFlutterby Creations HERE
Scrap Kit: TRICK OR TREAT by Tracey aka Sox

(font, spider and moon graphic included)
*Graphics have been collected in share groups so if either of them is yours,
please let me know so I can give proper credit
Let’s get started!
Put your mask in your Mask folder and your template in your Template folder
Open your font
Open your template and moon graphic in PSP
Open ButterflyFlutterbyHalloweenTemplate1 Shift + D to duplicate and close the original
Delete the watermark
Image > Canvas size > 650 X 650 (center placement)
Open Trick or Treat - Paper 7
Layers > Load/Save Mask from Disk
Find BflyFlbyMask3 from the drop down
Fit to canvas, Show all mask, Source Luminance checked
Hit OK
Merge Group
Activate your template and click on the Background layer
Copy and paste as your mask as a new layer
Resize by 110%
Click on Shape layer
Selections > Select all > Float > Defloat
Open Trick or Treat - Paper 6
Copy and paste onto your canvas
Resize by 80% and reposition paper so it’s within the marching ants
Selections > Invert
Hit Delete
Add drop shadow
2, 2, 50, 5
Click on Dotted Line layer
Click on your Manual Color Correction Tool

Set Source Color to - #404040
Set Target Color to - #f1e632
Hit OK
Add same drop shadow
Merge down
Click on Bottom Line layer
Click on your Manual Color Correction Tool again
Set Source Color to - #c0c0c0
Set Target Color to - #8d3dc2
Hit OK
Add drop shadow
-1, -1, 75, 2, color = black
Repeat for Top Line Layer but change V/H to 1/1 for drop shadow
Merge Top and Bottom Line layers together
Click on Thin Line layer
Click on your Manual Color Correction Tool
Set Source Color to - #404040
Set Target Color to - #f04414
Hit OK
Add drop shadow
2, 2, 50, 5
Click on Rectangles layer
Using your magic wand (mode = Add)
Select the light grey area inside the frames
Selections > Modify > Expand by 3
Selections > Promote Selection to Layer
Click on your Rectangles layer again
Hit Delete
Do not deselect!
Drag the Promoted Selection layer below your Rectangles layer
Open Trick or Treat - Paper 7
Copy and paste as new layer
Selections > Invert
Click on paper and hit delete
Add drop shadow
2, 2, 50, 5
Click on your Rectangles layer
Selections > Select All > Float > Defloat
Open Trick or Treat - Paper 4
Copy and paste as a new layer
Resize by 75% and reposition
Selections > Invert
Hit Delete
Add the following Inner Bevel:
Bevel-2
8, 0, 1, 0, 0, white, 315, 50, 30
Add a drop shadow
0, 0, 80, 5
Click on your Bats layer
Add Eye Candy > Gradient Glow with a radius of 5
Activate your moon graphic
Edit > Copy
Click on your mask layer
Edit > Paste as New Layer
Position top right
(see mine for reference)
Merge down
Copy and paste your tube and position to your liking
(I dragged mine below my rectangles layer)
Add the following drop shadow
-2, 0, 80, 5
Open up 3 of your Trick or Treat – Kid graphics from your scrap kit
Resize each by 75% and paste onto your canvas
Position to your liking
Add the same drop shadow as above
Merge the kids together
Open Trick or Treat banner
Copy and paste onto your canvas
Resize by 60% and Free Rotate 20 degrees right
Move up and to the right
(see mine for placement)
Drag below tube layer and sharpen
Add same drop shadow
Open Trick or Treat – Ghost
Resize by 75% and position to the left of the rectangle frames
Sharpen and add same drop shadow
Drag below Frames layer
Drag your merged Bottom Line layer and your Thin Line layer below your ghost
Open bag1
Image rotate left
Copy and paste onto your canvas
Resize by 50% and position on the bottom right
(see mine for placement)
Use your raster deform tool, alternating between holding the Shift and Ctrl keys down to flatten out your bag
When you’ve got it just right sharpen and add a drop shadow
Open candy 5 – 8 from your scrap kit
Resize each by 15%, copy and paste onto your canvas and position at the opening of the bag
Using your raster deform tool again, click on one of the candies
Holding your Ctrl key down, grab the top left node and move it right just a tad.
Let go of the Ctrl key and take your bottom middle node and move it up a tad to flatten the candy
Repeat for each of the candies
Add a light drop shadow to each one.
Feel free to duplicate and layer them to your liking
Merge your candies and bag together
Add your copyright and any text
Resize canvas to no more then 504 px on the longest side
(all layers checked)
Hide your white background and merge visible
Edit > Copy
Open Animation Shop
Ctrl + V to paste as new animation
Edit > Duplicate Selected (3 times)
You will have 5 frames
Click on frame 5 and delete
Ctrl + A to select all frames
Animation > Animation Properties > Opaque > White
Click OK
Open sbpider1 from your supplies
Animation > Resize
Click on Pixel Size and change width to 130
Ctrl + A to select all frames
Ctrl + C to copy
Click on your graphic
Ctrl + E to place spider to your liking
Left click to set
Animation > Frame Properties > 15
Resize to your liking and save
