I’m using the fabulous licensed work Elias Chatzoudis which can be purchased at MPT  

 

Supplies needed:

 PSP

(I wrote this in X but any version will work)

Plugins: dbs flux > Spiderweb HERE

Font of choice: I used A Charming Font Super-extended HERE

Mask: cbj_mask02 by me HERE

Scrap Kit (PTU): “SPOOKY” by Mirella of Scrapity Scrap and More HERE

Let’s get started!

 

Put your mask in your Mask folder

Download, unzip and open your font

 

Open a new canvas 650 X 650 and flood fill with white

  

Open Paper 5

Layers > Load/Save Mask from Disk

Find cbj_mask02 from the drop down

Fit to canvas, Show all mask and Source Luminance checked

Hit OK

Merge Group

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Resize by 110%

Duplicate layer again merge down

 

Open Frame 4

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Resize by 75%

Selections > Float > Defloat

Open Paper 2

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Selections > Invert > Delete

Delete the original frame layer

  

Using your magic wand, click inside your frame

Selections > Modify > Expand by 4

Open Paper 15

Copy and paste as new layer

Selections > Invert > Delete

Drag below frame layer

 

Open Ribbonframe2

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Drag below round frame layer

Using your magic wand, click inside your frame

Selections > Modify > Expand by 4

Activate your Paper 15 again

Image > Rotate right

Copy and paste as new layer onto your canvas

Selections > Invert > Delete

Drag below the circle background layer

Merge the 2 frame backgrounds together

 

Effects > Plugins > dbs flux > Spider Web with the following settings:

 

 Click Ok

 

Copy and paste your tube

Position between the 2 frame layers

Selections > Float > Defloat

Click on your round frame layer

Erase any part of the frame where you want your tube exposed

Deselect and click on your tube layer

Erase any part of the tube extending outside the round frame

 

Click on your ribbon frame layer

Selections > Float > Defloat

Click on your round frame layer

Erase the top part of the frame covering the bow

(see mine for reference)

Deselect

 

Open Crumpleribbon4

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Resize by 60% and drag ribbon layer below tube layer

Position towards the bottom of your ribbon frame

Duplicate layer and flip

Merge the two ribbons, sharpen and center on ribbon frame

 

Click on your ribbon frame

Using your magic wand, feather = 2, anti-alias checked,

click outside the frame

Click on your purple ribbon layer and hit delete

 

Add the following drop shadow to both frames and ribbon layers

0, 0, 75, 5

 

Add a drop shadow to your tube

 

Open Flower 1

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Resize by 60% and position towards the top left of your frames

(see mine for placement)

Sharpen and add a drop shadow

0, 0, 75, 5

 

Open Flower2

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Resize by 60% and position below your first flower

(see mine for placement)

Sharpen and add same drop shadow

 

Open Brad3

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Resize by 40% and position on the right side of your circle frame

(see mine for placement)

Sharpen and add same drop shadow

 

Image > Canvas Size

Change height to 700, top placement

 

Add your text at the top in black

Duplicate your layer

On the original layer, activate your manual color correction tool

Change the source color to #000000 and your Target color to #785189

Click Ok

Adjust > Blur > Gaussian Blur > 3

Merge your text layers together

 

Repeat the same steps for any other text you wish to add

 

Add your copyright information

 

Layers > Merge Visible

 

Crop to layer opaque

 

Image > Resize by 74% all layers checked

Sharpen if needed

 

Save as PNG
