Animation Shop

Plugins: Alien Skin Xenofex 2 > Constellation

Mask: WSL_Mask289 and 297 by Chelle HERE

Template: Template 7 by me HERE

Scrap Kit: “Sunfindulgence” by Jessica of Scraps by Jessica HERE

Let’s get started!

Download and unzip your masks to your Mask folder.

Unzip your filter to your filters folder.

Open your template in PSP

Image > Canvas size = 650 X 650, center placement

Click on background layer and flood fill with white

Open SF_paper12_JD

Layers > Load/Save Mask from Disk

Find WSL_Mask297 from the drop down

Fit to canvas, Show all mask and Source Luminance checked

Hit OK

Merge Group

Copy and paste onto your canvas and move to the right side

Duplicate layer and Mirror

Merge down

Layers > Load/Save Mask from Disk

Find WSL_Mask289 from the drop down

Fit to canvas, Show all mask and Source Luminance checked

Hit OK

Merge Group

 Click on lg wave layer

Selections > Float > Defloat

Open SF_paper20_JD

Copy and paste as a new layer

Selections > Invert > Delete

Add drop shadow

0, 0, 85, 8

Delete lg wave layer

Click on med wave layer

Selections > Float > Defloat

Open SF_paper1_JD

Copy and paste as a new layer

Resize by 85%

Selections > Invert > Delete

Add same drop shadow

Delete med wave layer

Merge down

Click on wavy line 1 layer

Selections > Float > Defloat > Modify > Expand by 1

Add same drop shadow

Delete wavy line 1 layer

Merge down

Click on wavy line 2 layer

Selections > Float > Defloat > Modify > Expand by 1

Click on diamond line 1 layer

Selections > Float > Defloat

Copy and paste as a new layer

Resize by 60% and position within the marching ants

Selections > Invert > Delete

Adjust > Add/Remove Noise > Add Noise

Gaussian, 90, Monochrome checked

Hit Ok

Repeat noise

Add same drop shadow

Delete diamond line 1 layer

Merge down

Click on diamond line 2 layer

Selections > Float > Defloat

Open SF_paper22_JD

Copy and paste as a new layer

Resize by 60% and position within the marching ants

Selections > Invert > Delete

Adjust > Add/Remove Noise > Add Noise

Gaussian, 90, Monochrome checked

Hit Ok

Repeat noise

Add same drop shadow

Delete diamond line 2 layer

Merge down

Click on frame bg layer

Selections > Float > Defloat

Open SF_paper24_JD

Copy and paste as a new layer

Resize by 80%

Selections > Invert > Delete

Delete frame bg layer

Merge down

Click on oval frame layer

Selections > Float > Defloat > Modify > Expand by 1

Open SF_paper4_JD

Copy and paste as a new layer

Resize by 80%

Selections > Invert > Delete

 Click on left swirl layer

Selections > Float > Defloat

Open SF_paper26_JD

Copy and paste as a new layer

Selections > Invert > Delete

Add same drop shadow

Adjust > Add/Remove Noise > Add Noise

Gaussian, 90, Monochrome checked

Hit Ok

Click on right swirl layer

Selections > Float > Defloat

Open SF_paper26_JD

Copy and paste as a new layer

Selections > Invert > Delete

Add same drop shadow

Adjust > Add/Remove Noise > Add Noise

Gaussian, 90, Monochrome checked

Hit Ok

Merge swirl layers together

Copy and paste your tube and position to your liking

Duplicate tube and apply a Gaussian Blur of 5 to your original layer

Merge tube layers together

Click on your frame layer

Selections > Float > Defloat

Click on your tube layer and erase any of the frame covering your tube that you don’t want shown

Add same drop shadow to your oval frame

Image > Canvas Size

Change width and height to 675, center placement

Click on your background layer and flood fill with white

Click on your mask layer and move down a bit

towards the bottom of your canvas

Image > Flip

Merge mask layers together

Open SF_cloud_JD

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Drag below mask layer and center at the top of your canvas

Click on your mask layer 

Open SF_rainbow_JD

Copy and paste onto your canvas and position centers at the top

Reduce opacity to 60

Click on the top layer of your layers palette

Open SF_fairydusttrail_JD

Copy and paste onto your canvas and position to your liking

(I duplicated mine and merged the layers together)

Rename fairy dust

Add your copyright information and any text

(For the text I used one of the papers as my background and

black for my stroke color)

Image > Resize by 74% (all layers checked)

Hide your White background

Click on your fairy dust layer

Effects > Plugins > Alien Skin Xenofex 2 > Constellation with the following settings:

Edit > Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop

Ctrl V to paste as new animation

Back in PSP

Hit Undo once

Effects > Constellation

Change fill color to #7b8c8d  

Hit the Random Seed Button once

Hit Ok

Edit > Copy Merged

Back in AS

Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Hit your right arrow once to activate new frame

Back in PSP

Hit Undo once

Effects > Constellation

Change fill color to #6b8386

Hit the Random Seed Button once

Hit Ok

Edit > Copy Merged

Back in AS

Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Hit your right arrow once to activate new frame

Back in PSP

Hit Undo once

Effects > Constellation

Change fill color to #d4a995

Hit the Random Seed Button once

Hit Ok

Edit > Copy Merged

Back in AS

Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Crtl + A to select all frames

Animation > Animation Properties

Click Opaque and change color to white

Hit OK

Animation > Resize Animation (if necessary)

View > Animation

File > SAVE AS!!!!
