Supplies needed:

 PSP

(I wrote this in X but any version will work)

Animation Shop

Plugins: dbs flux > Bright Noise HERE

Tube of choice

Font of choice – I used DonnysHand

Mask: WSL_Mask289 and 287 by Chelle  HERE

Template: Template 12 by me

(included in supplies)

Let’s get started!

Put your masks in your Mask folder

Download, unzip your font and open

Unzip your filter in your plugins folder

Open your supplies and post-it note in psp

Activate your template 

Image> Canvas Size

Change Height to 700, top placement

Delete copyright layer

Click on your bottom layer and flood fill with white

Open IMP_Paper23_TH

Layers > Load/Save Mask from Disk

Find WSL_Mask289 from the drop down

Fit to layer, Show all mask and Source Luminance checked

Hit Load

Merge Group

Click on your white background layer

Copy and paste as new layer onto your canvas

Resize by 70% and position at the top of your canvas

Duplicate layer, flip and mirror

Merge mask layers together

Layers > Load/Save Mask from Disk

Find WSL_Mask287 from the drop down

Fit to layer, Show all mask and Source Luminance checked

Hit Load

Merge Group

Use your raster deform tool to stretch out the mask on the right and left sides

Click on envelope layer

Selections > Float > Defloat

Open IMP_Paper05_TH

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Selections > Invert

Hit delete

Add a drop shadow

0, 0, 60, 5

Delete envelope layer

Click on bottom flap layer

Selections > Float > Defloat

Paste paper 05 onto your canvas

(it's still in your memory)

Selections > Invert

Hit delete

Add same drop shadow

Delete bottom flap layer

Click on top outside layer

Selections > Float > Defloat

Paste paper 5 again

Selections > Invert

Hit delete

Add same drop shadow

Delete top outside layer

Click on top inside layer

Selections > Float > Defloat

Open IMP_Paper24_TH

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Resize by 50%

Selections > Invert

Hit delete

Add same drop shadow

Delete Top inside layer

Copy and paste your tube

Position to your liking and add a drop shadow

2, 2, 60, 5

Open IMP_Gift02_TH

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Resize by 40%

Sharpen and position at the bottom right of your envelope

Add a drop shadow

0, 0, 60, 5

Open your 2 cupcakes

Resize each by 25%

Copy and paste them both onto your canvas

Position at the bottom left of your envelope and sharpen

Duplicate each one and position cupcakes to your liking

Add same drop shadow

Merge your cupcakes together

Open your party hats

Resize each by 45%

Copy and paste IMP_PartyHat01_TH onto your canvas

Position at the bottom of your envelope and sharpen

Copy and paste IMP_PartyHat02_TH

Free rotate 70 degrees left and position to the left of your first hat

Sharpen and add same drop shadow

Merge hats together

Open your balloons

Click on your mask layer

Copy and paste each one onto your canvas

Position to your liking

(I mirrored some of mine and repositioned them)

Merge the balloons together and add a drop shadow

1, 1, 60, 5

Copy and paste your post-it note onto your canvas

Position to the left of your canvas

Add some text if you’d like, resize and free rotate the text

20 degrees left

Convert to raster

Copy and paste one of your word labels onto your canvas

Resize by 30% and free rotate 10 degrees left

Position on your envelope

Add a drop shadow

0, 0, 80, 10

Add your copyright and name

Hide your balloons layer, mask layer and white background

Merge visible

Unhide your mask and balloons

Image > Resize by 62% (all layers checked)

Click on your balloons layer

Effects > Plugins > dbs flux > Bright Noise

Intensity = 30

Lighter checked

Edit > Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop

Ctrl V to paste as New Animation

Back in PSP

Click Undo once

Effects > Bright Noise

Click the Lighter button twice

Edit > Copy Merged

Back in AS

Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Hit your right arrow once to advance the frame

Back in PSP

Click Undo once

Effects > Bright Noise

Click the Lighter button twice

Edit > Copy Merged

Back in AS

Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Ctrl A to select all frames

Animation > Animation Properties

Opaque > White

Resize if needed

View > Animation and SAVE AS
