(I wrote this in X but any version will work)

Plugins: Filters Unlimited 2 (get a demo version HERE)

SUPPLIES

Let’s get started!

Put your mask in your Mask folder and open your note paper in PSP

 Open a new canvas, 750 X 750 white

Open H_paper13_JD

Promote background layer

Effects > Plugins > FU2 > Edges, Square, Square Edge 04

Hit Apply

Resize by 80%

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Open H_paper2_JD

Promote background layer

Effects > Plugins > FU2 > Edges, Square, Square Edge 04

Hit Apply

Resize by 80%

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Free rotate 15 degrees left

Open H_paper15_JD

Promote background layer

Effects > Plugins > FU2 > Edges, Square, Square Edge 04

Hit Apply

Resize by 80%

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Free rotate 15 degrees right

Open H_glitterborder2

Resize by 70%

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Free rotate 15 degrees left

Open H_frame3_JD

With your selection tool, crop off the bottom frame

Resize by 70%

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Position towards the top

(see mine for reference)

Click outside of the frame with your magic wand

Selections > Invert > Modify > Contract by 3

Open H_paper12-JD

Copy and paste as a new layer

Selections > Invert

Hit Delete

Choose 3 of your 4 tubes

With your magic wand, click inside one of the frames

Selections > Modify > Expand by 3

Copy and paste your tube and center to your liking

Selections > Invert

Hit Delete

Repeat for the remaining tubes

Add the following drop shadow to your tubes and frame

0, 0, 100, 5

Merge your frame, tubes and background together

Resize by 80% and sharpen

Copy and paste your main tube and position to your liking

Add a drop shadow

Open H_flower3_JD

Resize by 80%

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Drag below frame layer

Position at the bottom right of your frame

Add the same drop shadow

Duplicate layer

Image > Flip > Mirror

Open H_flower4_JD

Resize by 80%

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Drag below first flower layers

Position above the first flower

(see mine for reference)

Add the same drop shadow

Duplicate layer

Image > Flip > Mirror

Open H_Mp3player_JD

Copy and paste as a new layer

Select the inside of the window with your magic wand

Selections > Modify > Expand by 3

Add a new raster layer and drag below

Flood fill with white

Deselect

Adjust > Add/Remove Noise > Add Noise

Random, 34, Monochrome unchecked

Still on the same layer.... 

Selections > Float

Add a new raster layer

Effects > 3D effects > Cutout

0, 0, 100, 15, black

Click back on your Mp3 background layer and add any text you’d like

Merge your text with your background

Selections > Float > Defloat

Effects > Plugins > Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact > Glass

Under the basic Tab, set your refraction to 0 and your glass color to white

Click Ok and deselect

Merge your Mp3 layers together

Resize by 75% and free rotate 15 degrees right

Drag below main tube layer

Position to the right of your tube

(or anywhere you think it will look good)

Add the same drop shadow

Open H_laceribbon_JD

Resize by 75%

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Position on the lower right of your canvas

Sharpen and add same drop shadow

Open H_pin1_JD

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Free rotate 30 degrees left

Position at the top left of your papers in the corner

Erase a few parts of it so it looks like it’s threaded through the papers

Sharpen and add same drop shadow

Copy and paste your note paper onto your canvas

Drag below frame layer

Type out any text you’d like

Open H_paper12_JD

Layers > Load/Save Mask from disk

Find WSL_Mask117 from drop down

Fir to Canvas and Source Luminance checked

Click Load

Merge Group

Image > Mirror

Edit > Copy

Click on the top layer of your canvas

Paste as new layer

Position in the top left corner

Drag your layer down so it’s right above your white background layer

Duplicate layer and mirror

Merge your two mask layers together

Duplicate and flip

Merge Visible

Add your copyright information and your name

Resize by 67%, all layers checked

Save as .png
