I’m using the fabulous licensed work Keith Garvey which can be purchased at MPT 

Supplies needed:

 PSP

(I wrote this in X but any version will work)

Animation Shop

Plugins: Alien Skin Xenofex 2 > Little Fluffy Clouds

(you can download a DEMO version HERE)

VDL Adrenaline > Snowscape & Snowflakes HERE and HERE

Font of choice – I used 1 Snappy DNA (PTU font)

Scrap Kit (FTU): Snow Princess by me HERE

SUPPLIES

(Includes window and word art by me, trees by Rainbow Coffi)

 Download and unzip your scrap kit

Unzip your filters to your filters folder

Unzip and open your supplies in PSP

Open a new canvas 650 X 600, white background

Copy and paste your window and move it up a bit towards the top of your canvas

Using your selection tool drag a rectangle covering the top two window frames like below

Add a new raster layer and drag it below your window layer

Effects > Plugins > Alien Skin Xenofex 2 > Little Fluffy Clouds

Use the following settings:

Hit Ok

Activate your trees graphic

Using your freehand selection tool (point to point), draw around the tree on the right

Edit > Copy

Paste as new layer onto your canvas

Drag below window layer

Resize by 50% and position on the right side of your window and sharpen

Duplicate layer and resize by 75%

Position towards the left side of your window and sharpen

Erase any part of the trees showing outside of your window

Go back to your tree graphic and using your selection tool again, draw around the tree on the left

Edit > Copy

Paste as new layer onto your canvas

Resize by 30% and sharpen

Drag below both tree layers

Position towards the top of your window

Open up CBJ_SnowPrincess_Snowgirl3

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Resize by 30% and position at the bottom left of your window

(see mine for placement)

Erase the bottom part extending below the window

Sharpen and add a drop shadow

0, 0, 60, 10

Open up CBJ_SnowPrincess_Snowgirl2

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Resize by 20% and Mirror

Position to the left of the big tree

Drag layer below the big tree layer

(see mine for placement)

Add same drop shadow

Merge your snowgirls, trees and sky together

 Open up CBJ_SnowPrincess_Beadwords1

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Resize by 60% and position on the left of your window

Sharpen and add same drop shadow

Open up CBJ_SnowPrincess_Bowwrap1

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Resize by 60% and free rotate 45 degrees right

Position on the top right of your window making sure the actual bow doesn’t go over the edges

(see mine for placement)

Click on your window layer

Using your magic wand, (feather = 2), click outside your window

Click on your bowwrap layer and hit delete

Add a drop shadow

-2, -2, 30, 5

Add a drop shadow to your window

0, 0, 60, 10

Open up CBJ_SnowPrincess_Blossom1

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Resize by 50% and mirror

Drag below your bowwrap layer and position towards the top corner of your canvas

 (see mine for placement)

Erase the stem sticking out below if you wish

Add a drop shadow

2, 2, 30, 5

Open up CBJ_SnowPrincess_String2

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Resize by 75% and position at the top center of your window

Drag layer below your bowwrap layer

(see mine for placement)

Erase the top of the string sticking out above your window

Add a drop shadow

2, 2, 30, 5

Open up CBJ_SnowPrincess_Tag2

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Resize by 40% and free rotate 15 degrees right

Position at the bottom of your string

Erase the top of the string sticking out above your window

Zoom in and erase the part of your string to the right of the tag hole

Merge your string and tag together

Add a drop shadow

0, 0, 60, 10

Add your name to your tag

Copy and paste your tube and position to your liking

Add a drop shadow

Copy and paste your wordart and position bottom left on your canvas

Click on your window layer

Using your magic wand, click inside each of the window panes

Selections > Modify > Expand by 12

Effects > Plugins > VDL Adrenaline > Snowscape with the following settings

Hit OK

Add your copyright information

Crop away any excess white background you don’t want

Resize by 87%, all layers checked

Click on your merged background layer

Activate your selection tool and drag out a rectangle that almost covers the window frame

Effects > Plugins > VDL Adrenaline > Snowflakes with the following settings

Hit OK

Ctrl D to deselect

Edit > Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop

Ctrl V to paste as new animation

Back in PSP

Click Undo twice

Effects > Snowflakes

Change your Random Seed to 545

Hit Ok and deselect

Edit > Copy Merged

Back in AS

Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Hit your right arrow once to activate the new frame

Back in PSP

Click Undo twice

Effects > Snowflakes

Change your Random Seed to 1818

Hit Ok and deselect

Edit > Copy Merged

Back in AS

Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Hit your right arrow once to activate the new frame

Back in PSP

Click Undo twice

Effects > Snowflakes

Change your Random Seed to 5090

Hit Ok and deselect

Edit > Copy Merged

Back in AS

Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Animation > Frame Properties > 25

Resize animation if needed and view

 File > Save As
