Supplies needed:
PSP
(I wrote this in X but any version will work)
Animation Shop
Plugins: Tramages (get it HERE)
Eye Candy > Gradient Glow (any version)
Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Nature (you can get a DEMO version HERE)
Alien Skin Xenofex 2 > Constellation (you can download a DEMO version HERE)
Tube and font of choice

Let’s get started!
Download your filters to yoru filter folder and extrat there
Put your mask and template in their respective folders on your computer
Open your template in PSP
Shift + D to duplicate and close the original
Resize canvas to 650 X 750 (center placement)
Click on Raster 1 and flood fill with white
Open B_paper3_JD
Layers > Load/Saved Mask from Disk
Find zuzanna_mask07 from drop down
Fit to Layer, Show all mask, Source Luminance checked
Hit OK
Merge Group
Edit > Copy
Click on your white background layer
Paste as New Layer
Click on large rectangle
Selections > Select All > Float > Defloat
Open B_paper8_JD
Copy and Paste into Selection
Add a light drop shadow
0, 0, 75, 4
Click on black rectangle layer
Selections > Select All > Float > Defloat
Open B_paper7_JD
Copy and paste as new layer
Selections > Invert
Hit Delete
Effects > Plugins > Tramages > Tow the Line
(use default settings)
Add same drop shadow
Click on Raster 2
Selections > Select all > Float > Defloat
Open B_paper17_JD
Copy and paste as new layer
Selections > Invert
Hit Delete
Apply same drop shadow
Click on Raster 3
Using your manual color correction tool
Change Source color to - # #c0c0c0 and
Target color = #000000
Click ok
Effects > Plugins > Tramages > Panel Stripes
Density = 31
Depth = 132
Width = 70
Click Apply
Using Eye Candy (any version) apply a Gradient Glow of 5, color white
Click on your diamond outline
Using your manual color correction tool
Source color to - #000000
Target color = #5e819a
Click ok
Adjust > Add/Remove Noise > Add Noise
Uniform, 80, Monochrome checked
Click Ok
Ctrl + Y to repeat Noise
Add same drop shadow
Click on Bottom Bracket layer
Selections > Select all > Float > Defloat
Using your manual color correction tool
Source color to - # #404040
Target color = #000000
Click ok
Adjust > Add/Remove Noise > Add Noise
Uniform, 80, Monochrome checked
Ctrl + Y to repeat Noise
Add same drop shadow
Repeat same color correction and noise steps for Top Bracket
Click on left grey background
Selections > Select All > Float > Defloat
Open B_paper7_JD
Copy and paste as new layer
Resize by 50% and position so it’s within the marching ants
Selections > Invert
Hit Delete
Repeat for the right grey background
Click on right square frame
Selections > Select All > Float > Defloat
Open B_paper10_JD
Copy and paste into selection
Resize by 40% and position so it’s within the marching ants
Selections > Invert
Hit Delete
Sharpen
Repeat for left square frame
Activate your right frame layer
With your magic wand, click inside your right frame
Selections > Modify > Expand by 1
Add a new raster layer and drag below frame layer
Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout
0, 0, 100, 10, black
Merge your frame with your shadow
Repeat for left frame
Add same drop shadow
Click on grey squiggle layer
Selections > Select All > Float > Defloat
Open B_paper16_JD
Copy and paste as new layer
Selections > Invert
Hit Delete
Adjust > Add/Remove Noise > Add Noise
Uniform, 80, Monochrome checked
Click Ok and Sharpen
Add same drop shadow
Click on your top layer of your layers palette
Open B_candle1_JD
Copy and paste onto canvas
Resize by 50% and center within top left frame
Duplicate and mirror
Add same drop shadow
Merge candles together
Copy and paste your tube onto your canvas
Position to your liking and add a drop shadow
Open B_journal_JD
Copy and paste onto canvas and center
(see mine for placement)
Use your manual correction tool to change color to a shade from your tube
Add same drop shadow
Open B_tres_JD and B_chic_JD from your scrap kit
Copy and paste onto your canvas
Resize both by 60% and place on your journal paper
Position to your liking
Merge your word art and journal tag together
Add your copyright information and any text
Click on your candle layer
Zoom in on the left candle
Add a new raster layer
Using your selection tool > eclipse, create a small oval which will be your flame
Flood fill selection with #ecb308
Zoom back out to original and center
Duplicate layer, mirror and reposition if necessary
When you are satisfied with the positioning, merge flames together and rename Flame
Duplicate 3 times
Hide the copies and click on the Flame layer
Effects > Plugins > AS Eye Candy 5 Nature > Fire
Click on your Settings tab and highlight Small, Candle
Click on your Basic tab and use the following settings:
Hit Ok
Hide your Flame layer and unhide Copy of Flame
Repeat Fire effect but hit Random Seed once
Do this for the other 2 flame layers, each time hitting the Random Seed button once
Hide your top 3 copies and unhide your original Flame layer
Click on your Right Heart layer and merge down with your Left Heart layer
Rename Hearts
Duplicate 3 times and hide the top 3 copies
Activate the Hearts layer
Effects > Xenofex > Constellation
Use the following settings:
Click OK
Hide your Hearts layer and unhide your Copy of Hearts layer
Repeat Constellation but hit Random Seed once
Do this for the other 2 Heart layers, each time hitting the Random Seed button once
Hide your top 3 copies and unhide your original Hearts layer
Crop off any excess white background you don’t want
Resize canvas to no more then 500 pixels on its longest side
(all layers checked)
Hide your white background
Let’s ANIMATE!!
Edit > Copy Merged
Open Animation Shop
Ctrl + V to paste as new animation
Back in PSP
Hide your Hearts and Flame layers and unhide your Copy of Hearts and Flame layers
Edit > Copy Merged
Back in AS
Edit > Paste as New Animation
Hit your right arrow once to highlight 2nd frame
Back in PSP
Hide your Copy of Hearts and Flame layers and unhide your Copy (2) of Hearts and Flame layers
Edit > Copy Merged
Back in AS
Edit > Paste as New Animation
Hit your right arrow once to highlight 2nd frame
Back in PSP
Hide your Copy (2) of Hearts and Flame layers and unhide your Copy (3) of Hearts and Flame layers
Edit > Copy Merged
Back in AS
Edit > Paste as New Animation
Ctrl + A to select all frames
Animation > Animation Properties
Click Opaque and change the color to white
Resize to your liking if necessary
View > Animation and SAVE!!!
