I’m using the fabulous licensed work Angie Monasterio which can be purchased at CILM   

Supplies needed:

 PSP

(I wrote this in X but any version will work)

Animation Shop

Plugins: No outside plugins needed

Tube of choice

Font of choice – I used Inspiration (PTU font)

Mask: cbj_mask07 by me (included in supplies)

Sparkle tube (included in supplies)

Word Art by me (included in supplies)

Scrap Kit (PTU): Happy Time by Maritza of Scrappy Lover

SUPPLIES

Let’s get started!

Download and unzip your supplies

Put your mask in your mask folder, your sparkle tube in your tube folder and open your word art in PSP

Open a new canvas 700 X 650, white background

Open SL_HappyTime_Paper3

Layers > Load/Save Mask from Disk

Find cbj_mask07 from the drop down

Fit to canvas, Show all mask and Source Luminance checked

Hit Load

Merge Group

Copy and paste as new layer onto your canvas

Resize by 90%

Open SL_HappyTime_Frame1

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Resize by 75% 

Add a drop shadow

2, 2, 50, 4

Open SL_HappyTime_Ribbonbow1

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Position towards the left side of your frame

(see mine for placement)

Click on your frame layer

With your magic wand

Tolerance = 0

Feather = 1

Click outside the frame

Click on your bow layer and hit delete

Add same drop shadow

Open SL_HappyTime_String

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Resize by 75% and free rotate 90 degrees right

Position the string so that the top loop is over the far left corner

(see mine for placement)

Click on your frame layer

Selections > Float > Defloat

Click on your string layer

Erase the part of the string that’s covering the point,

the top of the frame and the area that’s between

the star and the sequin

Deselect, sharpen and add the same drop shadow

Copy and paste your tube and position to your liking

Add the following drop shadow

5, 5, 80, 10

Open SL_HappyTime_Beadedheart2

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Resize by 75% and and position towards the bottom of your canvas

Grab your raster deform tool

Hold your Ctrl key down and move the top left node almost to the center

Let off your Ctrl key and grab your top center node

Move down until your heart is flattened

Reposition on your canvas if needed

Sharpen and add a drop shadow

2, 2, 50, 4

Open SL_HappyTime_Pendant

Copy and paste onto your canvas

Resize by 60% and position on the top right corner of your frame

(if it’s covering your tube, drag the layer below it)

Click on your frame layer

Selections > Float > Defloat

Click on your pendant layer

Erase the strings covering the front of the corner

Deselect, sharpen and add the same drop shadow

Open SL_HappyTime_Gems1 – 4

Resize each by 30%

Copy and paste onto your canvas and

position on your frame

Feel free to duplicate, mirror, rotate, rearrange layers and place as many gems around your frame!

Sharpen each one twice and add same drop shadow

Image > Canvas side

Change your height to 750 (center placement)

Copy and paste your word art and position at the top left of your canvas

(see mine for placement)

Add your copyright information and any text

Hide your white background and merge visible

Image > Resize by 66% (all layers checked)

Click on the top layer of your layers palette and add a new raster layer

Rename it Sparkle 1

Activate your picture tube tool and find 1Sparkle

Scale = 50

Step = 200

Placement and Selection = Random

You will be placing a sparkle on a few of the gems (not all of them) and one sparkle on each letter of the word “WORLD”

Feel free to change the scale size at any time to get different sized sparkles

Add a new raster layer and name it Sparkle 2

Repeat the same steps but put sparkles on different gems and in different places on your word art

Add a new raster layer and name it Sparkle 3

Repeat the same steps again

Add a new raster layer and name it Sparkle 4

Repeat the same steps one last time

Hide your Sparkle 2, 3 and 4 layers

Edit > Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop

Ctrl V to paste as new animation

Back in PSP

Hide your Sparkle 1 layer and unhide your Sparkle 2 layer

Edit > Copy Merged

Back in AS

Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Hit your right arrow once to activate the new frame

Back in PSP

Hide your Sparkle 2 layer and unhide your Sparkle 3 layer

Edit > Copy Merged

Back in AS

Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Hit your right arrow once to activate the new frame

Back in PSP

Hide your Sparkle 3 layer and unhide your Sparkle 4 layer

Edit > Copy Merged

Back in AS

Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Animation > Animation Properties

Click Opaque and change color to white

Hit OK

Animation > Frame Properties > 25

Resize animation if needed and view

 File > Save As
